The CHGV is directed by Dr. David Goldstein, The Richard and Pat Johnson Distinguished University Professor. The primary mission of the CHGV is to identify clinically relevant and biologically informative genetic variation related to human disease predisposition and treatment response. CHGV staff have established a number of discovery programs, focused largely around infectious disease and neuropsychiatric disease, and are united by the fundamental aim of improving patient care.
